Agency Partnerships
Why This Work Matters
The people working in the criminal/legal system are asked to navigate extraordinary complexity every day. They facilitate behavior change, respond to crisis, build accountability, and support public safety—all while working in environments shaped by chronic stress, organizational demands, and limited resources.
Yet sustainable change isn't built through skill alone. It is also shaped by the conditions in which people live, work, and lead.
My work helps agencies strengthen those conditions. Through evidence-informed professional development, coaching, and wellness-informed approaches, I support organizations in building communication, resilience, and healthier systems—so both staff and the people they serve have greater opportunities to thrive.
Why I bring This Perspective
Having worked as a parole officer and within the Colorado Department of Corrections, I understand firsthand the realities of working in complex, high-pressure systems. My master's degree in criminal justice, with an emphasis in organizational learning and development, deepened my understanding of how individuals, teams, and organizations create lasting change.
Today, my work is also informed by Ayurveda, yoga, Reiki, and professional development coaching. Together, these experiences allow me to approach training through both an evidence-based and whole-person lens—addressing not only the skills professionals need, but also the conditions that influence how they think, communicate, recover, and sustain their work over time.
I bridge evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral approaches with human centered approaches perspectives. The result is practical, engaging professional development that helps staff strengthen communication, reconnect with purpose, and build sustainable practices that benefit both themselves and the people they serve.
What I offer
I offer interactive, evidence-informed trainings designed specifically for professionals in the criminal and legal system. Each session builds practical skills in communication, professionalism, and resilience—while also addressing the deeper need for balance, purpose, and wellness in this demanding field. Drawing from my background in community supervision, Ayurveda, yoga, and coaching, I create learning experiences that are engaging, relevant, and grounded in real-world understanding.
I look forward to connecting more with you to learn how I can best support you, your agency, and your goals!
